Login problems?
Here are some common login problems and solutions for them. If your problem is not answered here, please e-mail us with a full description of your problem.

"Sorry, the login failed."

This could mean a number of things, but the most likely explanation is that you typed in the wrong username or password. If you feel quite certain that you typed in the username and password you intended to, you may want to check whether they have been changed. Your account's primary contact should receive an email each time the account's password or username change; if they have been changed without your knowledge or permission, mail us and let us know as soon as possible!

"Tried to access page with wrong login type or without having logged in."

This typically means that your browser didn't send us the login cookie expected. Our account login requires that your browser accept and send a cookie which is set when you log in; if your browser does not accept cookies or has cookies disabled, you should change browsers or enable cookies. If you are using cookie-blocking software (such as JunkBusters) you should set the software to accept cookies from us.

You could also get this message because you bookmarked your account console after logging in and then revisited the bookmark later. You must login each time you wish to use your account, so if you bookmark anything, bookmark the login screen.

"Login expired after 30 minutes."

This is not a problem, but a feature! If there is no activity with your login for 30 minutes, you are automatically logged out. This is to keep anyone from coming along and meddling with your account information after you leave your computer. For even better security, you can logout from your account console when you are finished with it.
